The crown block is designed to perform tripping and technological operations during well drilling, supplying the tools to the bottomhole, keeping the drilling tools or casing pipes on the weight. The crown block is a static part of the traveling system and is installed on the crown block platform of the derrick.
USIC manufactures KB-type crown blocks with the lifting capacity of 320, 400, 540 tons.
